The Fleshghan is a flesh-toned afghan crocheted in various “skin” tones and featuring mutant-like growths and appendages. This is a nightmarish imagining of the possibilities and imperfections of the body and explores an abject sense of skin and the body. The Fleshghan is made to be worn allowing for performative possibilities with the work.
