Recently, in the Soviet times, people used to decorate their home with textile carpets, paintings and reproductions, depicting animal world, a world of swans – different landscapes of nature. Thus people were takimg themselves in some other environment that allows you to forget about the hardships of life, step back from it and immerse yourself in a meditative space of life.
Instead of these pictures today we have images that combine all sorts of topics into one, changing the impulsive motion, somehow winking at the audience, winking at us with its vulgarity. Now we are facing some distortion, one form is complemented by the other. The picture moves farther from the images of harmony and get a kind of cacophony in the promiscuous application of different images one on another. It creates chaos, reflecting the active and permanent disorder, developing even more primitive taste in our society. The world appeared unmanageable and frightening embodiment of formlessness.
The project consists of a series of 3D — hologram pictures, each picture has three images that are superimposed on each other. Thus, they change during the motion of the viewer and create a new plot, depending on the viewing angle. Holistic image fades out and there are fragments, showing and pointing to the collapse of the identity of the man and his thinking, which includes both a lack of understanding, conflicting actions and thoughts in relation to what is happening.
