the depths of my conscience–

I am clasping onto

each individual stream of ascendancy.

sinews of my delicate soul,

for with each exhalation of excitement

a new recognition is stirred within me and

awakens memories buried deep

beneath the dust of despair,

wakes the moths of my emotions and

with each flutter of finite wing

I am taken under and

held captive in my own

prison of pathetic tendencies.

it rises from within my fear and

stretches it’s ensnaring vines

around the carcass of

that which I was once.

like a straight jacket it suffocates it’s

host’s lunacies and rejuvenates the soul of it’s

last will to argue against the

atrocity of agony.
