‘The Rules of Earthly Wisdom’ is a multi-media installation that coherently develops narrative through live and recorded performance, ethereal garment concepts and still photography. The work conceptualises the ancient esoteric beliefs of transformation as recorded in the Yoga and Tantra Sutras of Oriental and Eastern religion and philosophies. The image, sound and performatory installation embodies the unseen and concepts of the transcendent Other as realised in the elemental world of man; the alchemical catalyst of transformation.
