Ê»Reflectionʼ is an ongoing art photography project that consists of face and full-body portraits of fictitious persons.

The human individual, here in the shape of the woman, is nude. She is relieved of time and space and carries an impression of life that is for me and the viewer to fill with meaning. Thoughts of her shift and her reflection changes. This dialogue brings the portrait to life.

Life exists in context to the environment and other people. Through my art I wish to search for what this might entail. Project Ê»Reflectionʼ is a personal longing and invitation to reflect on different realities and our relationship to these. The figures in the pictures are constructed in a process with largely subconscious aims. Working with fictitious individuals enables me to freely reflect on the idea of life and living in a personal and contextually unrestricted way.

My works wish to shed light on internal processes and thoughts that surface when we reflect on other people and also pictures of them. What I see might be the image of my own reflection.
