“Europe is living a unique moment in his history at all levels, religious, cultural, social and economic.
In essence, I paint Jerusalem. Christians, Jews and Muslims ascending among the rocks and old constructions, melting with modern buildings and icons of globalization. This city, with its contradictions, modern Western and Middle Eastern at the same time, is a place where people try to live in peace, sometimes in spite of themselves.
Europe today is walking a similar path as a meeting point of ethnic groups from all continents, religions and identities.
Trying to contribute with a positive vision, with a sense of humor and some irony in a figurative and expressionist manner, mixing European cultural icons, (like “Don Quijote” in the painting “All together now…” or with the famous sentence from Einstein) I recreate the spiritual dynamics of this experience.
The matter, in this Inflection time of the humanity evolution is if we will be capable to take a step forward…”
