My work has always been about the evolution of doodling and applying the awareness of the action itself into a work of art. It’s a style that I’ve been doing and re– discovering for almost 15 years.
“Acid Muzik” is my most recent work I created with Prismacolor Markers and Micron Pens. This body of work, which I’m currently working on, is a series I wanted to establish a connection with some of the various ranges of music I listen to on a daily basis. The title “Acid Muzik” itself is a name of a song created by electronic artist Luke Vibert, on the album “We Hear You” (2009).
Over a short span, not only “Acid Muzik” has been a connection for me and the music I listen to, but I also discovered its reflecting things in my personal life as well. Such as a customer service rep for a very large bank, the discovering of meditation, and the relapse of bad habits-are all reflected with what I’m creating right now at this moment.
