My current work roots from an attempt to visualise and catalogue momentary experiences, anxieties, fears and instincts beyond our control.

Drawing is the base of my practice, exploring methods of initiated mark making attempting to take myself out of the immediate frame. I am fascinated by chance, and the possibilities of creating a time based drawing I can observe or leave.

Can I instigate a process that is able to think for itself?

I endeavour to create a dialogue between result and happening, exploring ways that I, the instigator, can continue to influence the process.
