Museum of Memory and Springtide denote the calm spring of growth and flowering after the chaos settles.
These pieces have a sense of chaos, the vast tumult before the legend or myth unfolds: these pieces have great movement and color to indicate sweeping change. My medium is derived through shooting photographs of nature –sky, sea, flowers, trees etc as well as hard edged “manmade” materials such as glass, metal, wrought iron etc. which I layer — anywhere from 18 to 80 or more– as transparencies to create these Photographic Montages.
