These images were realised once for a label of a bottle of wine of a Tuscan wine cellar and shop.

My experience upon harvests is from my far past when I usually went to my relatives living and working in the countryside. Therefore, in that moment, I was not able to find an ideal concept for the project of the label: I found out that I had lost a lot upon my feelings about both nature and my personal past.

Thus, I came back at the countryside and walking among the vines I arrived in a old abandoned courtyard. Eventually, I made this images re-doing some old pictures found on that yard. Beginning from that moment, old photos are the basis of my artworks and I want to look for inspirational elements of them going out of my studio, turning in abandoned sites or to the country as a meeting of my past and my future. Memory and, too, time are primary features of a research as consumed photos are made again for reconsidering our approach to the world.

Each image are manual interventions directly on the films and digitally printed.
