for the past few years my art work has grown out of a huge passion …which most say has turned in to a total addiction for collecting bones!i go at least once a week, and have easily over 1000! were????…with the help of my trusty companion bailey (the dog! ) we scour the banks of the river thames in london for bones left over from the victorian times when slaughter houses , tanneries and glue factories were located all around the banks of the river, which was used as a dumping ground for waste bones, especially in rotherhite were my studio is . these bones then get used to adorn my large scale sculptures or installations i constantly build. They are born out of a love of the fragility and ever changing existence of natural materials and unusual architecture and structural ideas that i source on my travels around london or further afield . i have been squatting in london for the past five years and i think this way of life deffinately has something to do with the making the best out of what is readily available feel my sculptures have and hence my unusual addiction to bones!
