This image originated from a second year photo project focusing on how people in altered states (drunk etc) facially express themselves when eating specific forms of savoury and sweet. This example features my friends Caitlin and Emma after a late night following their attempt to finish a bag of jelly doughnuts. I feel that it applies to the theme of feast as the sheer mess of textures and semi-incoherient expressions brings up some of the roman orgy excess that can by applied to the word. A feast implies excess and I believe that these people, in this moment, do the same.
