My current line of enquiry is exploring the fragile and the meek overcoming their fears and getting their own back. I use elements of nature as a means to express this metaphorically. This takes the form of prey hunting down the predator. To me, a predator is a symbol of your fears, your phobias, weaknesses and addictions. It is something that takes over you that you cannot control. You are the prey.
These things can be overcome, the weak can become strong — just look at what is happening in the world right now. There are riots in countries where they want to overthrow current regimes, and even in the UK bankers are not getting their bonuses as it no longer seems right. The under-dog is speaking up and is starting to be heard. Our fears, weaknesses and addictions can be quashed.
