As humankind accelerates Progress forward toward a more wonderful world, what we will harvest and eat in the Future will be very little like what we eat at present. Due to advances in genetic, biological and chemical engineering, the multinational food production industry will make sure that in the future there will be constant developments in the manufacturing of food. Our fortunate descendants will be able to enjoy food not tasting like anything found in our in our current diet. And this harvest of deliciousness will look like nothing we are eating now.

Based on extensive scientific food forecasting research, it is my pleasure to present to you, Dear Reader, a small visual feast, a pictorial hors d’oeuvre as it were, of a few of the expected harvests of the future.

But they will all be easily identifiable to everyone as either a fruit, vegetable, or a fruit-vegetable hybrid due to their attractive green glow. And no need to worry about finding any trace of impurities such as dirt or insects in this food group as they will be manufactured under the most sterile of conditions. You’ll want to eat every last bite because they might be good for you!!!!!

MEAT-LIKE FOOD: Meat-like treats are waiting for us in the future! Of course mammals, birds, fish, and insects will look different in the future due to industrial food progress and unanticipated changes in the global ecosystem. But this is of no concern. All meat-like products and by-products will be uniformly coated with a delicious dark sludge containing subtly colored flavoring elements. You’ll want second helpings, for sure!!!!
