As the titles of these paintings suggest, the inspirationbehind this Usual Suspect series of shoes come from cocktails. I see them bothused as a form of role play in a social context as well as highly addictive fortheir feel good factor.

Wearing a fabulous pair of shoes whilst drinking an exoticcocktail, seems to have the power of accessing the fantasy version ofourselves, disconnecting us from our everyday reality. Eh, I’d have that on tap any day!”
