The point where nature becomes unnatural and it gets out of control in a silent manner is what I am interested in. The moment when plants, humans and animals become imperceptible and all the creatures start going through an unexpected metamorphosis, turning in to each other. They can be read as belonging to another world but in the same time they are also firmly connected to the realm of our everyday as they always contain a degree of familiarity. Nature becoming monstrous attracts and repulses us simultaneously. We see ourselves ‘becoming’, becoming animal, becoming monster. I am interested in the possibilities of escape this might offer.
