This work explores, concepts of identity, belonging and conformity.  The “no boundaries” series involves working directly on old maps, using rivers, mountains and contours in addition to geographic and political boundaries, to create new charts.  These reshaped and newly defined boundaries, although still representing physical barriers also offer up a metaphor for mental and psychological boundaries, which are self imposed and, as such, raise questions concerning self identity, cultural history and conformity, memory and migration.
