Jealous? Who Me? Never!
How could I be so shallow
I’m his wife, I have my pride
Jealous? No! Never, I cried
But I am. I’ll tell you why
I can’t compete with his mistress
She’s attractive, entices him with charm
His inhibitions she will disarm
She’ll invite him into her solitude
Then take him to a party
She’ll be there in his self pity
He’ll deny their relations activity
With this I’m thrown to the wayside
Along with my love for him
As the aroma of his sweet mistress
Suffocates us, again. The temptress
The children ask, “Who is this mistress?”
Tell us about her, let us meet
The one that takes you away from us
This wonderful part of life you trust
Father sits back and takes a deep breath
Then proceeds to explain her to us
This is what I record discussed
So all will understand his lust
He told us She’s always there for me
Whenever I feel angry or bad
Whenever I’m sad or in pain
Whenever lonely or feeling insane
Whenever I succeed or feel joy
She’s there to share that with me
I love the way she makes me feel
Confident, bold, sexy, and free
So tender with my delicate feelings
Helps me to forget life’s bitter trials
Resting in my hand so fine
My Mistress. My glass of wine
