The Moon’s Reflection.
Oil on Linen.
“We see the moon reflected in the still water. A woman reflects the quiet solitude of the night as she appears in the dark silent moments of the night when her face is lit by the passing of the full moon. It is a silent moment of reflection that comes to us in the night full of myth and legends.”
“Taking the Apple in the Mirror”
Oil on Linen.
The figure behind seems to be reaching out for the fruits as she holds the mirror where we see a young woman’s reflection maybe its hers , maybe a woman who would like a share of the fruits. The reflection gives the painting an ambiguous feel we are uncertain ‚it adds an uncertainty as to whom is really present and who is just looking or is the whole image just a reflection”
