The series Sheltering Leaves deals with the riddles and mystery that occur in our dreams which go unexplained. A game between mother and daughter appears as a flashback in a subterranean world where time has shifted in a disorientating manner, location unidentifiable. Similar to moments that occur in our dreams, each photo is like a moment in time– a second may hint one meaning — later– minutes may insinuate a different meaning altogether.
