My work, I call beach art, can be compare to street art as I use a public space to turn it into an ephemeral art piece and open space museum. I use the low tide beach as a canva and a rake as brush or spraycan.
I use a natural place, not suppose to be or welcome an art piece so in this way, my work contrast with its environnement but by the same I try to include it with it as much as possible to make them one. Before the tide erase all within hours, I took photos I work more or less, (specially increasing contrast) to give them a specific atmosphere, more poetical.
I like to transform a natural place as a beach wich is living, always changing and draw or write something very big to provoc a natural contrast and create a new reading of this known place, make people think about it more than just a place to tan and swim. Then, the best photos are printed on brushed aluminium for its specific grain and light!
