Recreation() is the process of self-identification of self through Television. We all use Television shows as a way of hiding from ourselves, they are a façade in which we translate the world for our own understanding. They are a way of communicating, we use different Television shows as an entry to starting conversation. If a person enjoys the same show then we make judgment, we understand the other through the same likes or dislikes of Television. In this series I have cut up Television stills to make collages of my day to day, then translated the 2D collages into 3D objects. This translation brings my personal way of using Television as a mask back into reality as an object to carry with me, a way to commutate with others without revealing my true self.
