Introduction. Reflections mean to me mirrored images of ourselves, like family members we resemble and the myriad of ways the unknown and darkness lie behind or underneath glistening surfaces. Much of what we know about attracting what we want and deflecting what we do not comes back to dealing with our underbelly or shadow, our darker side, and our “oceanic sense,” both explored by psychologist C.G.Jung.

“Quick, without thinking, what two words do you see when we look at the word ‘nowhere’”?, our personal coach asked. I saw “no where.” Far fewer saw “now here.” The difference is implied judgment in the former. Hardly a fairy tale. Yet, her message was that the power of positivity could help us to succeed in transforming our dreams into reality.
The first step, she said, is having awareness of the harm negativity causes through our cruelly beating ourselves up, guilt, and focusing on the future, rather than living in the present.
What we think significantly impacts how we feel, and in turn, results we get because of choices we make.
Awareness coupled with openness and receptivity to a less conventional approach and, taking action can set us on course to turn dreams into reality. The key ingredient is understanding how profoundly positivity impacts what we attract back to ourselves.
Working with a coach helps us to uncover the root cause of negativity in our subconscious thoughts, that control us until we understand them and can empower our conscious minds to take charge.
